| The TeachersNoga is a certified Upeksha yoga teacher and she holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Noga's experience in dance and her graduate studies are experienced in her concise and clear teaching style that focuses on body awareness, proper posture and alignment, and finding ease in the practice of yoga.
Inka has been teaching spinning at the Berkeley YMCA for several years and we are delighted to have her wake us up every Saturday morning for an awesome ride. Inka has always been athletic and continues to participate in triathlons in between taking care of her two boys and holding down a full time job in finance.
Laura is a dynamic spin instructor who will get you sweating and smiling in minutes. She emphasizes technique and form and the importance of having fun while you work out! Laura is also a NASM, Certified Personal Trainer.
We all know there are things we need to take care of in our lives, and somehow in the shuffle of it all, we forget about somebody very important …Ourselves. I’m not talking about putting yourself before family and friends, but I do believe you simply need to find the time to take care of yourself. We can make time for health and fitness. The truth is, if we don’t make time now, we may find ourselves suffering from health concerns, not having much time for anything, and wishing we would have spent the few hours a week in the gym. Our ability to contribute and perform in our lives and realize our dreams is directly affected by our fitness level and our willingness to take action. Be a doer. Eduardo's ZUMBA class is a favorite and is loved by students of all ages and fitness level. He does not only incorporate dance and exercise into this super fun workout, he also challenges each individual to improve their own stamina, endurance, and strength...all this while having the most amazing time!!!
Sridevi, has enjoyed a myriad of dance forms throughout her life including hula, Tahitian, ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop, Bollywood, bhangra and Middle Eastern dances. Dance is her personal passion! One of the things she loves about Zumba is that it's "exercise in disguise." You'll have loads of fun AND get a workout! Sridevi taught daily Zumba classes in Southern California that were packed! She's excited to bring her sunny enthusiasm and big smile here to the Bay Area, and now at Happy Hour Fitness.
Tanya Shenee Leake, ACE-certified group fitness instructor, assistant tango instructor and member of the Zumba® Instructor Network, is the founder of the sensual movement, a lifestyle approach that supports feminine balance. Tanya has studied various styles of dance since the age of 6, including various styles of West African, modern, jazz, Brazilian, Latin dance. She continues to dance and perform in the Bay Area through her Zumba and dance classes and with the SF-based Brazilian performing group Fogo Na Ropa.
I am Xabier, the owner of Happy Hour Fitness Studio. My focus is motivation and to make you really enjoy moving your body. I am a personal trainer and fitness instructor. I teach the Bosu, Body Conditioning, Physio Ball, Bands, and Stretch/Release classes as well as spinning. The group of people who come to thoses classes are just genuine. There is no competition, no intimidation, just a lot of fun. |
